Don’t you just love the cover of Monstrous Beauty? And that blurb? Wow, I can’t wait to get my hands on this pretty thing. I am not a huge fan of mermaids/sirens because these books are often written poorly or the main character is a huge idiot. But when I read all those great reviews from the people I trust I couldn’t help but fall in love with this storyline. I probably won’t buy it since it’s too expensive for my budget, but I win a giveaway I will choose this one.

 To save her mother's life, Clary must travel to the City of Glass, the ancestral home of the Shadowhunters - never mind that entering the city without permission is against the Law, and breaking the Law could mean death. To make things worse, she learns that Jace does not want her there, and Simon has been thrown in prison by the Shadowhunters, who are deeply suspicious of a vampire who can withstand sunlight.
As Clary uncovers more about her family's past, she finds an ally in mysterious Shadowhunter Sebastian. I have read the first two books in this series and I liked them. Now it's time to read City of Glass. The only problem is that I can't buy it. LOL that's why I'm wishing for it. But City of Ashes was a great book, and had a cliffhanger, and now I need to know what will happen with Jace and Clary. :)
