In Beatrice Prior's dystopian Chicago, society is divided into five factions, each dedicated to the cultivation of a particular virtue—Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful), and Erudite (the intelligent). On an appointed day of every year, all sixteen-year-olds must select the faction to which they will devote the rest of their lives. For Beatrice, the decision is between staying with her family and being who she really is—she can't have both. So she makes a choice that surprises everyone, including herself.
During the highly competitive initiation that follows, Beatrice renames herself Tris and struggles to determine who her friends really are—and where, exactly, a romance with a sometimes fascinating, sometimes infuriating boy fits into the life she's chosen. But Tris also has a secret, one she's kept hidden from everyone because she's been warned it can mean death. And as she discovers a growing conflict that threatens to unravel her seemingly perfect society, she also learns that her secret might help her save those she loves… or it might destroy her.
Debut author Veronica Roth bursts onto the literary scene with the first book in the Divergent series—dystopian thrillers filled with electrifying decisions, heartbreaking betrayals, stunning consequences, and unexpected romance.

My Review: Finally, my turn to write a review for this book. Is there any need to say more about it? I don't think so. Bu anyway, let's start.

I'll start by saying GOD BLESS VERONICA ROTH FOR WRITING SUCH AN AMAZING BOOK.

I really, really love this book. It was amazing, awesome, super, and I don't know what words to say to describe it.

It was so exciting. I loved all the Dauntless activities: jumping off building, trains, climbing tall walls.. I love to be a Dauntless. Unfortunetly I am not.

Actually, I think I am Divergent. No, really, I think that. While reading about Four I was thinking: Is mrs.Roth describing me? How does she know so much about me? I really am similiar with Tobias. I am afraid of heights, that's for sure. Are we brothers maybe?

Tris. Oh, Tris. You are the most amazing character EVER. I loved, loved you. You were brave, strong, and everything good. I loved your personality, and I loved everything about you.

Every other character in this book was written perfectly. Starting with Peter, ending with Marcus. You could see their personalities, their charisma even though they are not the main characters.

Why did I love so much this book? What does it make her so different, and more special from all the other books?
Divergent was not just another YA dystopian fiction book. This book is about confronting and dealing with your fears. Finding a way to make them dissapear, turning them into something you were affraid in the past.

Yes, that's why this book is so special. You could learn so much from it. At least I learnt.

There's no need to say more about DIVERGENT. It's perfect, it's flawless, it's amazing. I am a lucky person to have a signed copy of it, as well as of INSURGENT. I feel special.

Can I give this book a million stars? Can I give the whole universe to Veronica Roth? Yes I can! Thanks again for writing this book, that means a lot to me. Thanks!
