This week in Gotta Have It/Make It Stop: STRONG FEMALE LEADS

I love this type of female leads. I love when the character knows what she wants, it's certain about some thing, and does what she thinks it's the best. I love when female characters are not controled by the main male character, aka the love interest. That is what I hate the most.
I love when she can think by herself! Even If I always read them, I hate Bella-alike characters. Totally hate them.
Thank God, that with The Hunger Games, and the dystopia books euphoria, came strong lead characters.
Favorite strong female leads: Katniss Everdeen (The Hunger Games), Tally Youngblood (Uglies) and Lena Haloway(Delirium)

My opinion on this trend:
GOTTA HAVE IT!

Now post your opinions on this YA trend, and link us with your blogs in the linky. :)

It's so very true that I love strong female leads, and no weak vulnerable characters that do nothing but whine :( lol

Yeah, I love strong female leads or as I'd like to call them - kickass heroines :)
